The Four Rs
At Chisnallwood, we live by the values of the Four R’s. They are:

Responsibility - Tūtika
Respect - Whaikoha atu
Relationships - Whanaungatanga
Resilience - Manawa Tītī

We facilitate standardized lessons in class with students focusing on each of these values.

A Chissy Champ

Students who display one of the school values will get acknowledged with a “Chissy Champ” which puts them in a fortnightly draw to win some cool prizes. Once a student receives 20 champs, they also receive a wristband which they may wear at school.

At the end of each term we hold a super assembly, where some major prizes are up for grabs. It’s also a fun way of celebrating the successes we have had over the year.

What is the Chissy Champ Programme about
Chissy Champs is a framework of rewarding positive behavior at school in order to boost achievement for all our students.

Chisnallwood Intermediate is a PB4L school (Positive Behavior For Learning) and more information can be found about the framework here. Here at Chisnallwood Intermediate we believe in promoting positive behavior in a fun and exciting way.
